Our focus is on the reality of the work, not the image of stardom. We have bespoke class sizes so we can work on an acute level with our chosen students.

Our Ethos
The relationship between audience and artist is a precious one. They both have a role to play, and the actor must let them in through the space of trust, of vulnerability, of courage. Some call this a 4th wall. But let's be honest: its not a wall, it never has been, nor should it ever be. It is however an area of Constructive Inference, allowing the fantasy of the stage or screen into the hearts of those that watch: The audience. The curation of such an area can be found in the eye of a good director and teacher. It's in everyones best interest that this area is honoured and respected. And with that logic: AREA 4 was born. And now, let's get to work on filling the void.
